Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for information updates or marketing purposes are:

‍ ‍

·         Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:

‍ ‍

·         Collecting publicly available business contact details. This includes contacting influencers using publicly shared email addresses for business purposes on social media pages, such as YouTube "about" section. This also includes contacting employees with relevant roles within businesses for influencer partnerships, such as "influencer marketing manager", etc. This is necessary to establish partnerships between brands and influencers, and contacted individuals are reasonably likely to expect such communication due to their roles and the fact that the contact details are public. This has a minimal impact on privacy due to the use of publicly available, professional contact details.

‍ ‍

·         We store profile information, including influencers' platforms, niches, brand contacts' roles (for example "influencer marketing manager"), as well as their names and brand names. These profiles are used to match influencers to suitable brands for partnerships. This processing of this data is necessary to identify suitable partnership opportunities, while minimising unnecessary outreach. Only information relevant to the activity is stored, and much of it is publicly available through social media pages or professional networking platforms.

‍ ‍

For more information on our use of legitimate interests as a lawful basis you can contact us using the contact details set out above.

‍ ‍

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for research or archiving purposes:

·         Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:

‍ ‍

·         Storing publicly available business contact information for influencer and brand representatives, to maintain records of previous outreach and partnerships. This allows better identification of suitable opportunities for future collaborations.

‍ ‍

·         Storing data from previous transactions, such as completed partnerships, payments, campaign records etc. to be used for analytics, and to support future business decisions and research into brand-influencer matching.
